Dental Crowns – Full Veneers – Dental Bridges

This includes Dental Bridges, Full Veneers, and Implant-Supported Crowns.

5-Year Guarantee covering:

  • Breakages
  • Chipping
  • Cementation failure

This comprehensive guarantee reflects our confidence in the durability and craftsmanship of your dental restorations.

Dental Implants

The implant fixture (the titanium screw placed in the bone) is guaranteed for a lifetime against failure due to material or surgical defects.

If failure occurs:

  • We will replace the implant once, free of charge, provided the bone level and oral health are adequate.

This guarantee excludes issues caused by poor oral hygiene, smoking, trauma, or failure to follow post-operative care instructions.

Dental Laminate Veneers / Lumineers

This includes E-max Laminate Veneers and Lumineers.

3-Year Guarantee covering:

  • Breakages
  • Chipping
  • Cementation failure

Composite Bonding

No formal guarantee is provided for Composite Bonding, as this material is more susceptible to staining, chipping, and wear over time.

However, patients are advised on proper care and follow-up routines to extend longevity.

Root Canal Treatment

Due to biological factors and the condition of existing tooth structure, we do not provide a guarantee for root canal treatments.

Dental Posts

Dental posts are placed into damaged or weakened teeth to help retain restorations. As such, we do not offer a guarantee on dental posts due to the underlying tooth fragility.

Composite Fillings

1-Year Guarantee against:

  • Breakage
  • Chipping
  • Falling out

Dentures

Cosmetic dentures are guaranteed for 1 year against:

  • Fractures
  • Material defects under normal use

This does not include accidental damage, misuse, or alterations done outside the clinic.

Restoration / Replacement of Work from Other Clinics

We do not provide any guarantee for:

  • Crowns, bridges, or restorations performed by other clinics
  • Corrections or repairs on external dental work

Patients are recommended to undergo full evaluation before continuing or replacing work completed elsewhere.

At Over the Moon Smile, we stand by the quality of our dental treatments. Our dental guarantee reflects our commitment to excellence and patient satisfaction.

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully:

  1. If a patient seeks treatment or correction from another clinic without prior written confirmation from Over the Moon Smile, we will not accept responsibility for any complications, further issues, or additional costs.
  2. The guarantee is void if any issue is caused by one or more of the following:
    • Gum recession (either upward or downward)
    • Problems related to previous dental work carried out at another clinic
    • Weakening, damage, or decay of natural teeth
    • Gum disease or untreated periodontal conditions
    • Tooth loss or complications due to external trauma
    • Systemic health conditions (e.g., diabetes, autoimmune disorders)
  3. Implant Policy:
    • If a dental implant fails, Over the Moon Smile will provide a one-time replacement at no cost, provided the bone level is adequate and healthy.
    • This guarantee does not apply if failure is caused by smoking, poor oral hygiene, or non-compliance with post-treatment instructions.
  4. The guarantee is void under the following circumstances:
    • Inadequate oral hygiene
    • Failure to attend routine dental check-ups at least once per year
    • Failure to follow medical or dental advice provided by our team
    • Neglect or misuse of dental restorations (including crowns, bridges, or prosthetics)
  5. In cases where bone grafting is rejected, the clinic cannot be held responsible, as this is a natural body response that cannot be guaranteed.
  6. Over the Moon Smile is not liable for chipping, breakages, or the loss of restorations if:
    • The patient suffers from bruxism (grinding or clenching)
    • A night guard (gum shield) was provided and not worn consistently as instructed
  7. If a patient does not return within 12 months of their initial visit to complete their treatment, Over the Moon Smile will not be responsible for any resulting issues or complications.
  8. Natural movement or shifting of teeth over time is a biological process and is not covered under any guarantee.
  9. The following are not covered by the dental guarantee:
    • Travel costs, including flights and accommodation
    • Bite issue, pain, discomfort, or sensitivity in natural teeth
    • Cosmetic dissatisfaction after patient approval of the shade, shape, and design
    • Damage caused by accidents, trauma, or neglect
  10. Travel Compensation Policy:
    • If a patient must return to the clinic within 1 month of treatment for corrective care due to a verified defect, Over the Moon Smile will offer:
    • £30 per night for hotel accommodation
    • £100 toward return flight costs
    • Invoices or receipts must be provided to claim this reimbursement.
  11. This guarantee applies solely to treatments performed by Over the Moon Smile and is non-transferable.
  12. All guarantee claims must be supported by photographic evidence and clinical examination by our dental professionals.
  13. Patients must notify the clinic of any issue as soon as it occurs. Delays in reporting may void the guarantee.
